This is your comprehensive guide to
River Country, with all the up-to-date information on attractions, events,

This annual competition attracts many outstanding artists.
Included in this exhibit will be a wide range of media: oil, watercolor,
pastels, etching, pencils, silk, alabaster, marble, wood, glass, clay, metal
and acrylic.
In addition to paintings, the exhibit will contain photography, ceramics,
sculpture, fabric arts and mixed media.
Sturgis Council of the Arts presents Jimmy Dillon, a South Haven MI native.
Dillon is a guitarist/singer who has a story to tell. He has three
CD's under his belt covering a wide range of styles from flat out rock and
funky blues to seductive Latin grooves.
Grammy award winning harmonicaist Peter "Madcat" Ruth will be joining Dillon
for this performance.
Three will be a pre-performance dinner available at the Sturges-Young

Start the 2009 riding season off on the right pedal by attending the Bicycle
Repair and Ride Retreat Weekend.
Learn what tools to carry on the bike and HOW to use them. We will cover
basic, on the road repairs. The breakout session will be a mix of
instruction and hands on practice, plus time to ride.
Other breakout sessions include: nutrition and pre-ride and
post-ride stretching.
The fee of $250.00 includes lodging, all meals, snacks,
knowledgeable speakers, handouts and maps, and Park Tool Big Book of Repairs.
The retreat will be held at Bair Lake Bible Camp in Jones, MI, about 30
minutes south of Kalamazoo.
